Special Relay For Life of Davidson County
Davidson County, NC – November 10, 2009 – The American Cancer Society is hosting a special Relay For Life in Davidson County from 2 p.m., November 12 until 2 p.m. November 13.
The event will be held in honor of beloved teacher Tricia Creasey, who is battling stage four cancer who will be featured on the ABC television show “Extreme Makeover Home Edition”. The Society is seeking community members to form teams and participate in the overnight event to fight cancer. Participants will create campsites and take turns walking for 24 hours. The location of the event is Central Davidson High School, 2747 NC Hwy 47, Lexington, NC. The event will include a special luminary ceremony in honor those who have fought cancer as well as a cancer survivors’ lap.
